Other than that, it's a lot of fun to simply walk around Duval Street, shop, watch people, bar hop, etc.īesides bar hopping and shopping, the only things Key West really 'has' that are worthwhile are like snorkeling, diving (if you're certified), jetskiing and going to the beach, all of which you probably already know. Aqua's probably the best, and they put on a really popular drag queen show 2-3 times/night that's definitely worth checking out. There are three gay bars in Key West, I think. Nearby there's also a pretty cool Shipwreck Museum and a pretty mediocre, but fun aquarium. Afterwards, it's pretty cool to walk through Mallory Square and just watch the performers there during sunset.

I'm Cuban, but they serve some of the best Cuban food I've ever had, although if memory serves they're not as great as they used to be. Ooh, I was born in Key West! I was never really a tourist there, but here are some things that I really liked growing up and can remember:įor dinner, head to El Meson de Pepe at Mallory Square.
